BLACK WIDOWS Old school, eighties-style thrashy hardcore in full effect here. Lots of fast, no-bullshit songs that make up in energy what they lack in variety. The song “Answers to a .45” is reminiscent in a good way to the Black Flag anthem “Spray Paint the Walls”. Black Widows (recently renamed Black Cross) keeps the throttle set on high for the duration of Stops a Beating Heart, and the octane is contagious.
